The Gratitude Project GH is an organization which believes in the Sustainable Development Goal 2.1 which emphasizes on ending hunger by the 2030 and ensuring access by all people in particular the poor and those in vulnerable situations to safe nutritious and sufficient food all year round
As part of their annual donations and humanitarian project, The Gratitude Project GH visited Agordeke, a farming community which is well noted for vegetable farming located within the Agotime Ziope District on the 7th January, 2022 to carry out their planned Agricultural Project for the year under the theme: Promoting Safe Farming at Agordeke.
The program was well packed with lots of educational sessions with Mr. Stephen Dzita educating the participants on the safe use of agrochemicals and how to read and understand agrochemical labels. He also taught participants specific agrochemicals to use at every stage of the farming process and their application. It is believed that this education will go a long way to help the farmers increase their crop yield and reduce losses.
Several items were handed over to the farmers to help them in their farming activities after the education and he community expressed their gratitude to the team for coming to restore hope to their farmers.
This memorable event was graced with the presence of Mr. George Agbavitor the District Agricultural Director, Mr. Edem Azanu, the Regional Manager at Max International, Mr. Hotsey Wisdom the Technical Director at Agrihype, Dr. Dzakpasu, a Medical supt. at the Ketu South District hospital in Aflao and other prominent people.
The Gratitude Project GH is a Christian organization formed to impact the society and build a future for the generation yet unborn. The organization started its annual donation project with The Seed Project in 2018. They further organized The Seat Project in 2019 and The Health Project in 2020. The organisation has partnership with other corporate bodies including Max International, Agrihype, Calli Ghana among others.
